Description

What way is north? How do we deescalate a potentially dangerous situation? Don Beeson shares his practical experience with his background in combatives and military. This SPARK also dives a bit deeper into the large group night missions full of fun exercises, drills, and teamwork.

Through initial or team training, SERE specialists are taught to adapt and thrive in a variety of locations including desert, arctic, open ocean, jungle, captivity, combat, and more. Upon graduation, these specialists undergo another year of advanced skills training to include army airborne, combatives, urban evasion, advanced, escape, vehicle acquisition, interrogation training, shooting, and stalking. This episode snapshots this year's night mission and its planning. SSgt Don Beeson is a US Air Force Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape Specialist from Spokane, Washington.
